Fancy setting up your own business? See yourself as a bit of an entrepreneur?

We’re in business asks you to form a team and imagine you are starting up your own coffee shop. Whatever your skills – leadership, dealing with numbers, food guru or a flair for marketing – there’s a role for you. You will work together to plan the launch – you’ll need to work out your finances, menu and marketing strategy.

There are six topics for you to work through. These will give you the chance to:

  • understand the sort of financial help that banks offer small businesses
  • plan and run your own enterprise
  • make decisions about real-life situations
  • take part in teamwork and develop your communication skills
  • evaluate your own work.

This module contains short video clips and interactive activities.
